Seven ELPO Law Attorneys Named 2024 Super Lawyers; One Named Rising Star

Seven attorneys at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law) have been named 2024 Super Lawyers, and one named as a Rising Star.
Super Lawyers recognizes the top attorneys nationwide, across a variety of practice areas and firm sizes, who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice. Candidates are nominated and chosen based on an evaluation of twelve eligibility requirements which includes verdicts and settlements, experience, certifications, and pro bono service. All attorneys are recognized for their high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement and undergo a rigorous selection process. The Super Lawyers selection process is peer influenced and research driven, selecting the top 5% of attorneys and is made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
The following ELPO Law attorneys have been named as 2024 Super Lawyers: E. Kenly Ames (12th consecutive year) for Business Litigation; Charles E. English (18th consecutive year) for the area of Business Litigation; Charles E. “Buzz” English, Jr. (17th consecutive year) for the area of Business Litigation; W. Cravens Priest, III (8th consecutive year) for Employment & Labor; J. Kyle Roby for the area of Personal Injury: Plaintiff (1st year); Michael S. Vitale (5th year) for Business /Corporation and Robert A. Young (4th year) for Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff.
Sarah P. Jarboe (Environmental Law) was named to the Rising Stars list for the fifth time for 2024. The Rising Stars list is comprised of the top up-and-coming attorneys under the age of forty who have been in practice ten years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state receive this honor.
