Family law attorney Rebecca Simpson received the Pro Bono Publico Award at the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association’s annual Law Day ceremony on May 19.

She was honored for accepting pro bono cases on behalf of victims of domestic violence at the trial and appellate level and mediating family law cases for low-income families on a volunteer basis. “This award is a tremendous honor,” Rebecca said. “I’m humbled by this recognition, and grateful to work with people who allow me to make time for these important cases. Family law is incredibly important work, and it matters deeply to me that these cases are handled with the care and attention they deserve.”

The Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association’s Law Day celebration is an annual event that recognizes the importance of law in a civilized society and the contribution of area attorneys to both the community and the field of law. To learn more about the bar association, visit their web site.
