Overview
An experienced attorney can review a case and find errors that may give those involved in the case a reason to appeal to a higher court – and possibly reverse previous harmful decisions. Attorneys for English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP have that experience and have appealed cases all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, pursuing justice for those who did not receive it in a lower court.
ELPO attorneys have been recognized as members of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, an organization that honors attorneys who have pursued appeals through the courts and understand in-depth the nature of appeals and appellate courts. We have experience in both state and federal courts, as well as administrative bodies, and access to extensive databases and libraries of previously decided court cases, which can often be used as the basis of an appeal.
