Josie Keusch Joins ELPO Law as Associate Attorney

Josie Keusch has joined English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law) as an associate attorney after being formally sworn in by Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Kelly Thompson on Friday, October 11, 2024. Josie will focus her growing practice on the areas of personal injury, product liability, and employment law.
Keusch, a Cadiz, Kentucky native graduated magna cum laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology in 2021. Josie attended the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law where she graduated sixth in her class, earning her J.D. summa cum laude in May 2024.
In addition to her academic achievements, Josie gained hands-on experience in both prosecution and defense. She interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky and the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy, and also externed for Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Julie Kaelin. These roles deepened her understanding of the legal process from multiple perspectives, further sharpening her skills and reinforcing her commitment to the legal field.
