ELPO Law Partner Kyle Roby Joins CASA Board of Directors

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of South Central KY, an agency that provides trained citizen volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the family court systems throughout the region, recently announced that five new Board of Directors have joined their team. The following individuals will be volunteering their time and talents to the organization’s board:
Kelly Dean, WBKO-TV
Dr. Jamie Bunch Jarboe, Med Center Health
Kyle Roby, ELPO Law
Rhonda Williams, Alliance Counseling
Alison Youngblood, Western KY University
The group of community minded leaders from around the region bring a variety of backgrounds and experience including legal/law, social services, event planning, marketing/PR, and strategic planning. They joined an established Board of Directors of 13, 6 CASA employees, and 89 volunteer advocates.
“We are extremely excited to have new, talented Board Members to help us bring more awareness to the CASA mission. CASA is a working board, and we are ready to put this crop of fresh, energetic talent to work for the vulnerable children in our region,” reports Jana Sublett, Executive Director CASA of South Central KY.
“We are thrilled to on-board highly skilled individuals with diverse talents to bring new ideas and excitement to our already outstanding group. As 2020 was a difficult year for most non-profits, we still had much success within the organization such as recruiting 29 new volunteer advocates, hosting virtual trainings, as well as advocating for 246 abused and neglected children in our region. We look forward to keeping this momentum going in 2021,” stated Brooke Schakat, incoming Board President for CASA of South Central KY.
