ELPO Law Attorney Lindsay Porter Appointed ABA Young Lawyers Leadership Position

ELPO Law attorney Lindsay Porter has been appointed as the Planning Committee Liaison for the American Bar Association (ABA) Day in Washington by the ABA Young Lawyers Division. Porter’s term will begin September 1, 2021 and run until August 31, 2022.
ABA Day is the legal profession’s largest lobby day of the year, where thousands of professionals from across the country advocate on issues of importance to the legal profession. On this day, participants from every corner of the country flood Capitol Hill to raise their voices with advocacy messages. As part of Porter’s role as ABA Day Planning Committee Liaison for the Young Lawyers Division, she will be representing the Young Lawyers Division’s interests in planning ABA Day in Washington, D.C., providing a young lawyer’s viewpoint, and collaborating with other ABA entities to provide content and programming specific to the Young Lawyers Division.
Lindsay Porter practices in the areas of Education and School Law, Employment Law, and Family Law. She is from Frankfort, Kentucky and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University (WKU) in December 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agribusiness. Upon graduation from WKU, Porter attended the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2020. She has been an associate attorney with ELPO Law since December 2020.
