by Mandy Hicks
Attorney and partner Bob Young will be speaking to the Managing Partner Forum‘s leadership conference on May 4 and 5 in Atlanta.
The Managing Partner Forum is presenting its 25th leadership conference designed especially for managing partners and leaders of smaller and mid-size US law firms. Since 2002, more than 1,000 firm leaders from 43 states have participated.
Bob will be part of the leadership forum’s group for law firms with 21 to 35 attorneys. He will participate in an audience polling session in which the audience will be asked about their firms’ investments in people, clients and the future. He’ll also participate in a wide-ranging session on law firm culture, policies, procedures, core values, infrastructure, budgets, technology, compensation system and strategic planning.
Bob is a former managing partner of ELPO. The managing partner of a law firm helps guide the business side of the firm, participating in budgeting, hiring, leasing office space and strategy for the entire firm. Bob is also the past chair of the American Bar Association‘s Law Practice Division. The Law Practice Division is dedicated to helping improve the business side of law firms, offering help, advice and networking to those who help operate law firms. Bob is still very active in the organization, and is a frequent speaker on topics involving law firms and technology.
